Ceramic Glass Platen Liner. Manufactured from heat resistant glass of temperatures up to 760C this is a great way to not only extend the life of your platen but also help it cut cooler. The glass is harder than steel so it wears slower, meaning you have less wear. The smooth surface of the glass means less friction and less heat build up, however it can generate static electricity so beware!

Installation Guide:-
- Ensure the steel and glass are clean and thoroughly degreased
- Use an industrial epoxy such as G-Flex or JB Weld – Do not use the 5 minutes, but the 24 Hour cure time as it is a better bond
- DO NOT CLAMP – It will break the glass, it is best to tape the glass in place while the glass cures
- You can grind any sharp edges away or to your size from the glass but take care
Safety Advise:
Glass does and will break – use ALL safety measures available including goggles, gloves, face mask and leather apron. Always check before and during use that the glass is safely attached – the is NOT safety glass – if it breaks it will shatter into sharp shards
