Deerfos JG530 Aluminium Oxide (Compact) abrasives – the flexible brother to PG730. These belts are great for finishing your steel to a high standard – they provide a great consistent, uniform finish. Compact abrasives are different to standard aluminium oxide abrasives – they are a large cluster of abrasives as opposed to a layer of aluminium oxide abrasives in more traditional belts (Hermes RB346J for example). As you grind with JG530’s you expose more fresh abrasives, which in turn makes the JG530’s longer lasting (Up-to 3 times longer than RB346J), with a cleaner more uniform cutting allowing a better finish and reducing hand sanding time. These abrasives are designed for steel, not for wood or composites.  Can be used wet or dry.
