1095 Cu-Mai – A decorative combination of a Stainless Steel outer, Copper shim and 1095 core. 1095 although a simple steel takes a great edge and when etched will give this Cu-Mai a stunning look! The cutting edge is clad in 430 stainless which is extremely corrosion resistant, and a decorative Copper shim provides a visual definition between the two steels. This Cu-Mai billet features no scale and requires no further heat treatment, just simply cut the shape you need and grind away! You can also etch the centre core to a black while the cladding will remain bright!
