10C28Mo2 is a recent development from Sandvik. Designed to be a step up from 14C28N it was designed with a focus on knife specific demands with corrosion resistance in particular. The very fine microstructure provides a great combination of hardness, edge retention, toughness, and ease of use. This makes 10C28Mo2 a great choice for outdoor knifes, professional kitchen/butchers knifes, fishing knives or knives that require increased corrosion resistance
